Mission Statement

The mission of the Tucker High School’s Elements of Destruction Drumline, as part of the Ambush of Sound Marching Band, is to promote school spirit and represent as the pride of Tucker High School. We will serve the school and community encouraging the art of expression through music, build character and confidence with commitment to excellence and aim to inspire, educate and leave an everlasting legacy.

Purpose

The purpose of the program is to introduce students to the fundamental skills of becoming a percussionist. We believe the drumline to be the battery of the band, and is a great way for students to become involved with an activity that motivates them to stay academically, mentally, and physically engaged. Students who participate in our program learn the importance of teamwork, time management, and academics while strengthening esteem, confidence and much, much more.
